About eyebrow piercing

An eyebrow piercing passes through tissue around the eyebrow, often towards its outer section. The exact angle and position should suit the natural shape of the brow and the tissue available. Both jewellery ends are visible, making their alignment part of the overall design. This is a different placement from a bridge piercing across the upper nose. If you have a particular diagonal or vertical look in mind, bring a reference and discuss what can be achieved with your own features rather than relying on a photo alone.

Is this placement right for you?

Consider what regularly touches your brow: sunglasses, helmets, fringe styling, make-up brushes and towels can all affect how practical a placement feels. Eyebrow grooming also needs care around a fresh piercing. Position and depth matter, and changes in the way the jewellery sits should be checked by the piercer rather than ignored. You do not need to decide on every future jewellery choice before the appointment. Start with a suitable placement and fit. Eyebrow piercing is listed at €35; ask about the available initial pieces when arranging your visit.

Jewellery and what is included

A curved barbell is a common choice for a standard eyebrow placement. The length, curve and decorative ends should match the tissue and allow an appropriate initial fit. More compact jewellery may become an option later, but the piercer should assess any change rather than fitting by appearance alone.

Looking after your piercing

Take extra care when pulling clothing over your head or drying your face. Keep brow cosmetics and grooming products away from the healing openings and avoid snagging the jewellery with brushes. Follow the cleaning instructions supplied, and arrange a check if the position or amount of visible bar changes.

Follow the instructions given for your individual piercing. Ask the studio about any fit checks or jewellery changes during healing.

Eyebrow Piercing: your questions

Can I choose which eyebrow to pierce?

You can discuss your preferred side and overall look. The final placement also depends on suitable tissue and practical contact from glasses, helmets or other everyday items.

Can I wear brow make-up around a fresh piercing?

Keep cosmetics and applicators away from the healing openings. Discuss your usual make-up and brow-grooming routine with the piercer so you can plan around the new placement.
