About navel piercing
The familiar navel piercing sits through tissue at the rim of the belly button. The visible shape of the navel varies, so an example photo alone cannot determine the best position or jewellery for you. Tell the studio if you have an old navel piercing, an existing channel or a particular look in mind. The placement discussion should consider how the area sits when you are standing and sitting, as well as how the jewellery will look from the front.
Is this placement right for you?
Check where your usual jeans, leggings, work uniform or sports clothing sit before choosing a navel piercing. A waistband pressing directly on the jewellery can make daily care awkward. If you have a holiday, swimming plans or an event coming up, discuss timing with the studio rather than assuming the piercing will be ready by a particular date. Ask any questions about an earlier piercing before re-piercing the area. Contact the studio to confirm age, ID and consent requirements before booking.
Jewellery and what is included
The listed €35 price includes basic jewellery. Ask the piercer which initial style suits your navel and how it differs from the decorative jewellery you may want later. Upgrades are available at extra cost; confirm suitability and price before choosing a different finish or decorative end.
Looking after your piercing
Keep waistbands and other pressure clear of the piercing. Use the cleaning routine explained by the studio and avoid turning the jewellery. Ask when it is appropriate to change styles; looking settled on the outside is not enough to decide that a piercing is ready for new jewellery.
Follow the instructions given for your individual piercing. Ask the studio about any fit checks or jewellery changes during healing.
